On December 10, 2014, over 350 leaders from all three sectors gathered in Washington, D.C. at the “Exponential Impact: Connecting Health, Housing and Community” symposium. Recent changes in the U.S. healthcare system have offered an exciting new potential for building bridges between healthcare and the housing and community development sectors. This potential necessitates learning about other sectors, understanding the rapidly evolving environment, and pioneering new joint approaches.

Boston Breakfast

On February 4, 2014, NeighborWorks America convened a 35th Anniversary celebration breakfast in Boston designed to catalyze a deeper connection between housing and community development and the health and safety of the communities that we serve. Over 120 people came to hear a panel of experts speak about "Working across Sectors toward Measurably Healthy Communities" in downtown Boston.
